The approximately 5-mile Clark Lake Spirit Trail, dedicated to the
memory of Tom Collins, late owner of the Beach Bar, is open to the
public. It goes the entire circumference of Clark Lake. Walkers and
bikers may park at the county park on Ocean Beach Road or the Columbia
Township Park on Hyde Road. Maps available at the Beach Bar, the Irish
Hills Chamber of Commerce and other businesses in Clark Lake.

With over 100 acres of nature
preserve like park, the property displays beautiful scenic landscape,
wetland and wildlife which can all be accessed by our miles of well
groomed walking trails. We offer over 100 RV sites with water,
electricity, fire ring and picnic table. Rustic sleeping cabins are also
available for rent, along with kitchen and dining hall, a quaint log
cabin chapel, in-ground swimming pool and privately owned fishing lakes
with canoe and row boat rentals.

Chi-Bro Park

Chi-Bro Park (9.3 acres) has a 3.5 acre
spring-fed pond, small dam, grassy area, woodlot, nature trail, swing
sets, two grills, benches and picnic tables, timber-frame pavilion, wood
play structure, two sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pits and outdoor
ice rinks. A designated cross-country track extends through the park
into adjacent property and is also used by the high school teams.
Nan Weston Preserve at Sharon Hollow
Easudes Rd at Jacob Rd, Manchester, MI 48158 Phone: (734) 428-7090 ![]() 248 acres offer a vast array of trees, spring wildflowers and numerous types of
birds. Open to the public for bird watching, cross-country skiing and
walking.
Sharon Hills Preserve
Sharon Hollow Rd, Manchester, MI 48158 Phone: (734) 428-7090 ![]() 67-acre nature area offers a
forest area, wetlands and open areas. Located in the Sharon Short Hills
area, this hilly terrain is ideal for cross-country skiing. Open to the
public for bird-watching, cross-country skiing and walking. Some
sections of the trail pass through dense older forests. Others pass
through remnant oak savanna and tall-grass prairie. The trails in this
preserve are marked with white triangles as they pass over sandy and
rocky glacial deposits.
Sharon Mills Park

county-owned park in Southwest Washtenaw County, was restored by Henry
Ford in the 1930s. The Mill, most recently used as a winery, was
constructed in 1835 and is listed on both the state and national
Register of Historic Spaces. The County is currently developing the 6.3
acre site, located on the River Raisin, and will include a museum with
interpretive programs, fishing and picnic areas and canoeing.
Sharonville State Game Area

Southwest Washtenaw County and a portion of nearby Jackson County, this
area consists of 6,000 acres and offers hiking, hunting, canoeing,
fishing and target shooting areas. Game hunting includes deer, squirrel,
pheasant and wild turkey.
Falling Waters Trail

major east-west component of the Jackson County Regional Trail plan,
connecting Cascades, Ella Sharp, Lime Lake and Swains Lake parks in
south-central Michigan’s Jackson County with the city of Jackson. The
Trail has been dedicated as a Jackson County Park.

green prairies, rolling meadows, marshes and ponds dapple over 300 acres
and highlight Michigan's changing seasons. With five miles of hiking
trails, including a half-mile special needs trail, unique exhibits and
year-round educational programs, visitors can spend the day exploring
the great outdoors and discovering the wonders of nature.
Lake Hudson Recreation Area

opportunities around Lake Hudson. The park, which lies in southeast
Michigan, offers premier muskie fishing and game hunting. The terrain is
gently rolling with a mixture of open brush land to mature hardwood
forest, with some pockets of open meadows mixed in. A new beach area
provides an excellent place for sunbathing and swimming. |
